The American Music Awards took place on Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with the special host Taraji P. Henson. Along the night, many artists like Billie Eilish and Justin Bieber did incredible performances for the virtual audience.
There were five prizes for Country Music: 'Favorite Male Artist,' 'Favorite Female Artist,' 'Favorite Duo or Group,' 'Favorite Album,' and 'Favorite Song.'
Blake Shelton, who is working together with Kane Brown at 'The Voice' to help his team, won the category for 'Favorite Album' with 'Fully Loaded: God’s Country.'
The 27-year-old singer won the category of 'Favorite Male Artist' in the Country genre and this was the third time he does it in the past few years.
In 2018, he also won two other prizes for 'Favorite Song' and 'Favorite Album.' That year he doubtless was the best of the night!
The help of his fans and his gratitude
We think that this success that Kane is having, is because of his incredible talent as a versatile country music singer, but also because the love that his fans feel for him.
Kane definitely knows it, and is really grateful with them. He wrote on his Twitter account: "Thank you fans for all the votes y’all got me here and y’all keep me here! Thanks for everything you do for me and my family we love you guys @AMAs"
After listening to his songs in loop, we consider that Kane brought some freshness to the traditional old country music style. With his style, young people are getting closer to country music and that's why he had so many votes. Cheers, Kane! Watch this heartwarming video of him winning in 2018:
