Every year since 1967 the great game of the season finale of the National Football League has been held, and it is a very important event in our country. However, it was in 1993 when the halftime show became a hit. Read on for the top three Super Bowl performances of all time.
It could have been none other than Michael Jackson who started the tradition of the Super Bowl halftime shows. Before 1993 the musical part was carried out by local bands and choirs, but not by relevant artists from the national and international music scene.
Despite being the first, Michael's was not the best. Anyway, let's remember it below.
3) Madonna 2012
In third place, we have the Queen of Pop with her memorable performance at the Super Bowl 2012 halftime.
As she could not be otherwise, Madonna put on a great production with hundreds of dancers on stage.
Although she was not alone, after singing "Vogue" and "Music" she was joined on stage by LMFAO and later by rappers Nikky Minaj and Cell Lo Green.
Maybe she could have been number two for the quality of the staging, but there was too much lip sync from the diva.
2) Beyoncé 2013
The following year, Queen Bey was the artist in charge of entertaining the audience in the most-watched event in the world of sports worldwide.
Beyoncé nailed it, not only for the staging but for the quality of her vocals.
She left it all on stage and had incredible technology to perform all kinds of visual tricks. Before finishing her performance with "Halo", her former colleagues from Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams appeared from down the stage and sang "Single Ladies" with her.
The 39-year-old singer rocked the house and left us a performance to remember.
1) Prince 2007
This performance by Prince Roggers is the best by far, and I don't know if it can ever be surpassed.
In 2007, it was the first time in 40 years that it rained on a Super Bowl night.
However, the artist rocked it. It was incredible not only the selection of tracks for the show but also the sound, the style, the dancers that accompanied him.
This presentation certainly felt short, we would have listened to this icon for hours under the pouring rain.
