The K-pop band and the pop star got together to make “Ice Cream”, this fun song matches the music video, full of bright colors and ice creams. Almost the whole song is in English except one verse that is rapped in Korean.
2- Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande -“Rain on Me"
Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande made a perfect pop star duo for “Rain on Me”. The song was co-written by both, Gaga and Grande, among others. The song is part of Gaga’s album “Chromatica” and it is considered one of the best songs of 2020 by BBC, Billboard and The New York Times. The song is in our top 3 because it deals with struggles and hardships of everyday life, to which many of us can feel related but in a positive way that invites listeners to dance and take problems away.
1- Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion - “WAP”
The two rappers, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion came together to make this hit. Even though the song was criticized for its lyrics and video clip being too provocative, the track reached a record for most streams in the first week in a year. This popular song is in the top of our raking because it advocates for black women’s rights and social justice.
Women are gaining more importance in the music world and in 2020 we had some incredible female collaborations.
