Keep reading as we discover how the Grammy Award winner was left with no choice after a hair dye disaster that went really wrong!
Billie Eilish brought back the mullet 80s hairdo that looks brave and incredible. However, the superstar did not plan her amazing style.
In fact, the five-time Grammy winner revealed that the creation of the hairstyle was a happy accident after a friend who was dying Billie’s hair green accidentally burned half of it off.
The “No Time To Die” singer decided to answer a fan request that asked her to share a photo of:
“The most f***ked your hair’s been”
Eilish posted a video on Instagram showing that after the dying went wrong she started pulling short strands of hair that were breaking and falling out near her scalp.
It’s so moving to see her looking confused and surprised by the hair catastrophe. The “Bad Guy” singer is so honest and never hides her reactions! Billie wrote a message to her fans warning them about the dangers of dying their own hair:
“Don’t trust just anyone who says they’re good with color. My hair continued to fall out in chunks for the next two months after this.”
Then she decided to fix her damaged hair with a mullet haircut that she premiered on the red carpet at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles on November 4th, 2019.
At least the story has a happy ending because she looks amazing and her unique cut has become her signature fashion style inspiring a new generation of fans to recreate her look.
