Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande won one of the most important awards of the night in Los Angeles. Their prize is bigger than the award: the two stars are behind the feminist movement that is taking over the music industry in the United States and they have been validated. Read more below!
The “Rain on me” singers won one of the most fought categories of the Grammy awards. Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande competed with “One day” by Dua Lipa, J Balbin, Bad Bunny; Justin Bieber's “Intentions” with Quavo; Bts's “Dynamite” and “Exile” by Taylor Swift with Bon Iver.
Only one group could win and Ariana Grande don't wait too long to speak on her Instagram account to share the great news with her new great friend, Lady Gaga.
"Grateful to be able to dance in the rain with u, to call u my dear friend, and to now share this".
Lady Gaga also spoke to thank the great support of her fans and comment that she wouldn't be present at the Grammys ceremony, and it shocked us because we expected to see her walk the red carpet with one of her crazy outfits!
Watching the Grammy’s from Italy! So honored just to be nominated!
Without a doubt, this prize means a lot. Behind their musical work, is their political support and their fight towards equality. More artists like Billie Eilish are getting into politics, taking their power and influence into the masses. Social media has helped with message spreading and luckily, towards pacific purposes. We pray that these tools are used for peace, equality and helping others. Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande showed us that artists can be more than just public figures. With their award, the industry managed to be a slightly better place than last year. Thank you!
