From 2013 until 2017 'Piece of me' Vegas Residence took place, where the hit maker performed 248 times. Her second Vegas Residence 'Britney: Domination' was set to start on February 13, 2019. Unfortunately those 32 planned shows have been cancelled. Scroll down to learn more!
The mother of two has always been quite controversial about many things in both, her career and personal life as well. I personally believe that was due to becoming a star too young. We may bear in mind, the hit maker started off working as a Mouseketeer in 1992 at the young age of 11 years old. Since that day, she has never stopped being looked for the paparazzi flashes.
Britney's first Residency (2013-2017)
'Piece of me' became her first Vegas residency from 2013 until 2017 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The megastar received many awards in between such as: the best of Vegas award in 2015 and 2017. Her Residency smashed all previous ticket sale in Vegas. It was originally a two-year-contract, however, the sales were so great, that they decided to entend her appearances for to more years. Spears announced she earned $475,000 per show. After 250 presentations on stage the residency grossed $138 million.
Britney's second Residency
'Britney: Domination' was her new Las Vegas residency at the Park Theater. Although everything was set and tickets were mostly sold, the 'Toxic' singer announced she was not going to do it. The Pop Princess stated it was not cancelled but postponed due to 'her father's health condition'. There are some doubts as regards to the truth in her saying, but that is what was officially stated by her and by the Vegas theater.
Conclusion
The ‘Oops I did it again’ singer has always known how to make the media talk about her. Her first Vegas Residency has beaten many records, we'll just have to wait and see if when the second is rescheduled is the same. People are hoping to hear about the new dates. It seems, just seems, to be set for 2021!
