This amazing artist has six very good reasons for living, we are talking about Lola, Rocco, Mercy, David, Stella, and Estere.
While some of them are biological others were adopted, let's dig deeper into it.
Lourdes Maria Ciccone was born in 1996 as a result of her romance with the professional Cuban coach Carlos Leon.
Lola has followed her mother's steps concerning feminism and women's rights, she has become an icon of her generation and was chosen by Stella McCartney as the face of her brand.
Rocco is the second child she had with ex-husband Guy Ritchie in 2000. The British filmmaker wanted his son to be born in the UK but the delivery took place in Los Angles. Apparently Madonna didn't want to give birth to her son in the UK as she found British hospitals antiqued and too Victorian.
Mercy James, David Banda, and twins Stella and Estere were adopted in Malawi during three different trips the artist took to the African country. Mercy was adopted in 2009 at the age of 4. In 2016, she adopted Rocco who is now playing in the Benfica soccer team of Portugal. The reason why the whole family is living in Lisbon now.
Last but not least, in 2017 she adopted twins Stella and Estere at the age of four just when everybody was thinking that she wouldn't have more kids.
