The beauty standards set by the elite class or the society sometimes negatively affects the mental health of many individuals. Females, especially, start having inferiority complexes and do not feel comfortable in their own skin. Selena encourages such women to be proud of themselves as it’s what is on the inside that matters the most.

The multitalented star has been very open about her illness before too. She updated her fans on everything she was going through in life and how she felt about it. Gomez is also highly indebted to her friend, Francia, who played a major role in saving fans’ favorite celebrity. Guess we all need such friends in our lives.
