Since everyone is waiting for Miley Cyrus' concert at the Tailgate of Super Bowl LV, we have been wondering a few matters regarding the public image of the 28-year-old artist. Read on to find out more about this thread.
We often see child actresses and singers who rise to fame very young and many times they cannot bear the weight of success.
Without going any further, we have the example of Britney Spears who after becoming a world pop success at 16, lost control of her life and ended up living in a 12-year conservatorship from which she has not yet been able to walk out.
Lindsay Lohan is another example of a child star who couldn't bear the burden of fame and ended up losing her acting career to substance abuse and endless partying that clouded her professional judgment.
While Miley Cyrus has been in the eye of the hurricane pretty much the entire time since she took off her blonde wig from Hannah Montana, for her daring outfits and carefree lifestyle,
we cannot deny that she has not lost the north and has stood firm to her art.
We can even say that she is one of the most versatile singers on the current music scene in our country.
Despite everything, Cyrus has kept her feet on the ground and despite the occasional substance abuse scandal she has managed to "stop" in time.
Another example of this is the singer Justin Bieber who rose to fame at the age of 13 thanks to the YouTube platform and years later he was fighting with his demons.
Fortunately, Justin is also an example of improvement. What is it that makes these young artists so exposed to public scrutiny that they can't stand it?
We couldn't blame social media for this because we've seen other iconic artists like Jim Morrison or Kurt Cobain succumb to success and end up in the worst possible way.
Could it be that we are not all prepared to carry such pressure? Despite the fact that most people dream of being famous and successful, it obviously takes a lot of character to bear it.
From yaay we celebrate Miley Cyrus for being a survivor, and we hope that personalities like Britney Spears manage to overcome their bad moments.
