How did Billie Eilish celebrate New Year?

We desperately need happy news at the start of 2021 and Billie Eilish is lifting our spirits with a sweet Instagram post of her adorable pit bull puppy Shark playing in the snow for the time in his life. Scroll down as we reveal the amazing adventures of Billie and Shark!

  • On April 20th Billie Eilish adopted a grey pit bull puppy she was fostering during the quarantine, which she named Shark.
  • The 19-year-old has two dogs now. She grew up with her family dog called Pepper, the new puppy and she also has a rescue cat named Misha.
  • Eilish’s older brother Finneas and his girlfriend Claudia Sulewski also have adopted a pit bull rescue dog and they called it Peaches.

Billie Eilish adopted a pet joining a list of celebrities who were struggling to cope with the overwhelming loneliness caused by the quarantine due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Eilish was initially fostering a couple of puppies during the quarantine and impulsively she decided to adopt one of them a pit bull puppy, which she named Shark. The other puppy also found a permanent home.

Billie’s little puppy made its debut as a celebrity dog when the star revealed in an Instagram story that she was fostering the dog but decided to keep her pit bull pup rather than giving him up for adoption, even joking about it confessing that she “failed at fostering”.

Billie Eilish a real animal lover!

The “Bad Guy” singer is an animal lover and when she decided to provide her new best friend with a home, she encouraged her fans to do the same, promoting the Los Angeles based dog rescue Angel City Pit Bulls on her social media.

On New Years Eve Billie decided to introduce her cute 10-month-old pit bull puppy to snow for the first time, and guess what? Shark loved it!

To finish off a difficult year, Billie and Shark decided to bond with mother nature and went for a hike at the top of the snowy mountains, they walked high into the hills. She posted pics of the her pet enjoying the ride and having fun in the winter season.

Her brother and creative collaborator Finneas O’Connell also adopted a cute pit bull. Finneas loves to walk his dog Peaches around the hills of his neighbourhood in Los Angeles.

Peaches and Shark are both super energetic dogs and need plenty of exercise. The siblings love to walk their pets together and they’re good company in their studio, good inspiration for writing powerful songs.
