Billie Eilish has opened up in her forthcoming documentary, reflecting that it was pretty brutal to discover how much her life has changed. It’s fascinating where she reflects on her music career. The singer, 19, who has won five Grammy’s in 2020 really surprised us with how mature she is and how much amazing advice she can share. The superstar used to love cameras but it was challenging being surrounded by filmmakers recording her documentary when she was a teenager struggling with certain parts of her private life. She wanted to keep them private but in the footage, you can see her emotions.
“It’s really about my life, me, in such a way that I was not expecting, and was pretty brutal to relive.”
Her creative process is much different from when she was working on her first record “When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go.” Billie has grown up and she is writing more, feeling better as a person.
She couldn’t be happier about what she is creating. The “My Future” singer is in a much better place and she is proud of herself.
Eilish revealed that she is working hard on her new album. She is not sleeping well and would love to get into a better nighttime routine but the musician is in a very creative state at the moment.
Billie is obsessed with a chocolate milk drink that has all the proteins and gives her energy. If you want to check out the brand it’s called Kate Farms and it’s a really delicious nutritional shake.
The songsters revealed that the British Fab Four band is a big influence on her music. She loves a ton of Beatles songs. Her favorites are "Something," " Julia," "You Never Give Me Your Money," "Anna (Go To Him)," and "Maxwell's Silver Hammer," and she can go on for hours on the rest!
There are other art forms that also influence her music, like fashion, patterns in fabric, colors, and textures. Billie has synesthesia, which means that her senses merge and so she can hear colors and see sounds. She uses her dreams as source material and is also inspired by things that people say.
Another obsession is that she loves is mosh pits. She enjoys the freedom of being slammed into the crowd during a concert. Before she thought it was a bunch of crazy mother f*s then but when she took part she realized that nobody is looking at you or judging who you are. It’s just pure energy.
When she feels the pressure of being famous there is an important thing to remember.
“You’ll die and that it won’t matter. It might sound weird or not work for you. However, for me that thought brings her peace. You got to remember that it's just life. Nothing more."
It sounds amazing for a teenager to give such mature advice. Eilish said that we should be nice to people, take care of the planet, fight for our rights, but we all have to remember that life is impermanent. So listen to Billie and be nice and don’t do stupid things. One day we all die and all the worries that clouded our minds won’t matter anymore.
