Everyone knows songs like “Bad Guy” but what about the rest? In fact, all the tracks from Billie’s debut album, produced and co-written by her brother Finneas O’Connell, turned out to be massive hits. The catchy songs made musical history and fans loved it. Now, we want to focus on the hidden gems released before Eilish exploded into mainstream stardom! Check them out below!
1) “Bitches Broken Hearts”
This is a great song that could have been easily overlooked because it didn’t make the cut on Eilish debut EP “Don’t Smile At Me”.
Luckily it was later included on the extended version. Billie was only 16 years old and her smooth vocals are mesmerizing, reflecting the sadness after a relationship breakup when the other person lets you go. To listen to the song click here.
2) “& Burn”
This single was a remix of the song “Watch” that was originally titled “Watch & Burn,” though Eilish and Finneas decided to create two different tracks. “&Burn” is a much better version that shows her brother’s talent in sound production. To listen to the song click here.
3) “Six Feet Under”
Before Eilish released her EP she created a few standalone singles including 2016’s “Six Feet Under.” This was the second song that the hitmaker uploaded to SoundCloud, and it also came with a moody music video which was directed by the singer and edited by her mother, the actress Maggie Baird. 4) “Bored”
The song was included on the "13 Reasons Why" Netflix series season one soundtrack in March 2017. Eilish also released a music video in which she climbs a ladder that leads to nowhere.
She gave a much deeper meaning to the song explaining that at the time she was trapped in a toxic relationship that didn’t have a future. To watch the video click here.
5) “Bellyache"
This is the best song from "Don't Smile at Me." The track tells the dark story of a girl who murders her boyfriend and ditches his body in a gutter.
It was inspired by the work of rapper Tyler, The Creator, who creates alternative alter-egos in his albums. To watch the music video click here.
