The weird rule you didn't know BTS needs to follow

BTS has become the group everyone wants to collaborate with. Their music breaks all barriers, which makes them the best in the world. They have collaborated with many international artists and released super hit songs. They do not just feature as singers in the songs but also write lyrics and produce. The group has this strict rule that they follow at all costs when they collaborate with other artists. Find out what this rule is below!

  • The 26-year-old leader, RM, learned English by watching Friends.
  • Bangtan Boys are the most followed Korean act on Twitter, and have won all major awards at MAMA 2019.
  • With a net worth of $450 million, the group is responsible for 7.6% of the foreign tourist to South Korea.

Some of the artists BTS has worked with include Halsey, Lil Nas X, Nicki Minaj, Max, Jason Derulo, and the list goes on. They are the biggest boy band on this planet. It's hard to keep up with all the artists they collaborate with.

These collaborations are of two types. Either BTS features someone on their song, or they get featured in someone's music video. The rule applies to the later kind of collaboration.

Max recently collaborated with Suga on his song, 'Blueberry Eyes.' Army loved that Max and his wife learned the Korean lyrics for Suga's part in the music video.  Honestly, if any artists show just a little respect for BTS, they instantly become Army's favorite.

Max also revealed that BTS has a strict rule to not feature in any music video that does not have all the members when collaborating. Isn't that insane? It makes all the sense now!

Suga did not appear in Blueberry Eyes. RM did not appear in Old Town Road Remix. Jungkook, J-Hope, and Suga did not appear in Savage Love. Suga did not appear in Eight with IU. RM did not appear in Yoona's Winter Flower

It makes sense now why all the members were performing Old Town Road at the Grammys when RM was the only one who collaborated on the song. RM really said it, everyone or no one! We love this policy! What do you think Army?

It makes sense why they release animated videos and lyrics videos for such collaborations. This rule is really melting our hearts! Army calls BTS the OT7 fan. Isn't that true?

Fans confused this with BTS featuring other artists on their tracks. J-Hope featured Becky G on his song 'Chicken Noodle Soup.', but that was J-Hope's solo track. Similarly, BTS has featured Lauv and Steve Aoki on their other songs.

This policy is so significant because it shows the loyalty and respect they have for each other. This will make us cry! Stay strong dear Army! Check out one of our favorite BTS collaboration below!
