BTS' vocal line performing 'Truth Untold'

Released in 2018 as the third track for BTS' album, 'Love Yourself: Tear', Truth Untold is about fear - the fear of not being able to show your true self and having to wear a mask to conceal it. BTS uses the heartbreaking story of the Smeraldo flower in which a man who, because of his insecurities, lost the woman he loved. The Smeraldo flower stands for sincerity that wasn't able to be delivered.

You know that I can’t

Show you me
Give you me
I can’t show you a ruined part of myself
Once again I put a mask on and go to see you

Truth Untold is definitely a song that tugs at your heartstrings!

It's impossible not to get teary-eyed while listening to Butterfly. Being already a sad song, the Prologue Mix increases its sadness by 100 times! Suga wrote it to express the fear of losing someone by comparing it to a fleeting butterfly. The song represents the feeling of losing the person who used to bring you joy and how everything you hold dear can be lost if you don't pay attention.

Will you stay by my side
Will you promise me
If I touch you, that you might fly away, that you might be shattered,
I’m scared scared scared

3. 'Blue & Grey'

The third song from BTS' latest album, "BE", is a soft, pop ballad track. In the track BTS member, V,  tried to express his inner sadness and uncertainty. The colors blue and grey symbolize the depression and anxiousness human beings feel on the inside.

The blue question mark that still exists
Would it be anxiety or depression
Could it be that humans are really the animals of regret
or, is it just me who was created by loneliness

If you listen to the song with the lyrics in mind, you will surely shed some tears!

4) 'Paradise'

BTS in the 2018 season greeting

When you feel as if life has become complicated and the burden of your dreams comes crashing down on you, Paradise by BTS is the most comforting song you can listen to. This song tries to console its listeners by assuring them that it's perfectly fine not to have grand dreams, how they don't have to trap themselves in society's expectations of goals.

Stop runnin’ for nothin’ my friend
You don’t have to have a dream that anybody dreams

Stop runnin’ for nothin’ my friend
All languages that make you are already in the paradise

BTS use a marathon to describe how life is a long journey. Everyone is running after the same thing - paradise, but if you pause for a few moments, you will realize how you're already in the 'paradise' you're chasing after. Don't you think most of us can relate to the song's lyrics?

The morning will come again
No darkness, no season can't last forever
Maybe cherries are blossoming
And winter is going to be over

It serves as a reminder that winter - your sadness can't last forever. With time, the snow will melt, the earth will get warmer, and flowers will bloom. Whatever hardship you are going through, you can get through it!
