J-Hope looking ethereal

Born with an in-born talent for dancing, Hoseok started dancing in grade three. He did his kindergarten from an art school in Gwanju, his birthplace, but couldn't connect with the subject. He expressed his thoughts on his school,

I probably only went there because it was close to my house.

Hence, he strived to look for what really excites him.

Before Debut:

J-Hope from BTS

In grade six, he decided that he wants to pursue dance and joined a street dancing group 'Neuron'. After practicing a lot and becoming confident in his dance skills, the Ego star looked to joining idol labels in South Korea.

It is said that humble beginnings always result in big successes and J-Hope is the true definition of it!

J-Hope, the most handsome

He auditioned at, JYP Entertainment, which is a big label in the country housing artists like Twice, ITZY, Stray Kids, etc. The company was looking for members for a group at that time, which was basically GOT7, but he didn't get a good response from them.

Then in 2010, he auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment which was a very small company at that time, and got accepted for it. From then onwards, he learned to rap, and today he performs with the band members, RM and Suga who have been rapping since a very young age.

Who knew this long-haired young boy would take the company and group to a grand success?
