Why is K-pop band Twice promoting a new album without Jeongyeon?

Korean girl band Twice is going to start promoting their new album Eyes Wide Open later this month. Unfortunately one of their 9 members will not be with the group this time. Scroll down to find out why Jeongyeon decided to step out of the promotion.

  • Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu form the K-Pop band Twice.
  • The band was originated in JYP's reality show Sixteen in 2015.
  •  In 2017, they released their first studio album called  Twicetagram.
  • This girls group will touch your heart twice, one through your ears and then through your eyes. That's what the name means.

Surprisingly, the talented 23-year-old singer Jeongyeon will not be able to join in the beautiful task of promoting the K-Pop band Twice's new record work.

 Why?

For anxiety issues.

According to JYP himself reported to the press, the young woman reported feeling a bit overwhelmed by the situation.

After a lot of talk and medical advice they decided that she would take a break from her artistic duties.

We still have 8 more members who will surely carry out the album's promotion flawlessly.

Eyes Wide Open promises to be a worldwide success.

Interestingly, it's not the first time that a member the More and More hit singers feels the need to take a break.

In 2019 Mina got off the world tour due to anxiety attacks.

Fortunately, the Japanese singer managed to overcome the bump and returned to the band shortly after.

We're sure that 23-year-old singer Jeongyeon will also delight us with her talent again very soon.
