Will Smith and family honored with Robin Williams' Legacy of Laughter Award

The Smith family recently gathered at their home to receive Robin William's Legacy of Laughter Award remotely. What is this award? Read on to find out.

Every year the children of the late actor Robin Williams present the Legacy of Laughter award.

Previous honorees include Ben Stiller, Billy Crystal and Whoopi Goldberg.

Zelda, Cody, and Zac present the award from the non-profit association, Bring Change to Mind, founded by iconic actress Glenn Close.

The association focuses on the problem of mental illness and its stigma.

Not only actor Will Smith was chosen to be honored with it but so was his family.

Jada, his wife, and their three children, Jaden, Willow, and Tray. The reason for the honor?

The individual and group contribution of the 5 members of the household to bring joy to the homes of millions.

Through his talents and his family policy of dialogue and relaxation.

The award reception was remotely from the Smith's house with Jaden absent, as he was awaiting the results of his COVID-19 test.

It was really emotional but fun at the same time to see them remember who this master of entertainment was, the late Robin Williams. 

The actor committed suicide in the context of Lewy body mental illness in 2014 but will live forever in our hearts that will always remember him with a smile.
