This year the world of cinema has been rocked by the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the Netflix platform has been greatly benefited by the mandatory confinement to stop the spread of the disease.

With an increase of 16 million subscribers in the first quarter of the year. The highest in its 13-year history.

Many stars decided to join the platform and stay relevant.

Dakota Johnson on the other hand, premiered The High Note, a musical comedy centered on a female singer and of color on selected movie theaters and on VOD.

It was certainly a smart move to choose a woman centered story and a black artist for the leading role this year by the way.

While that is very positive, the movie seems to be an idyllic Hollywood fantasy to some critics.

However, it seems to us that it is great that cinema continues to show the hopeful side of life and the realization of personal and professional dreams.

We fully support the performance of the actress from 50 Shades of Gray, and we invite you to see the official trailer.

Enjoy it
