Abdul Mateen is a phenomenal actor. He rose to fame right after featuring in his first drama series. Ahead are the most notable TV shows and movies he has appeared in since 2016.
Many of us were first introduced to Yahya through Netflix's short-lived series 'The Get Down'. If you thought acting was his only talent, you thought wrong. His singing and dance moves were perfect for this part.
Although he played the antagonist, it was easy for the charming actor to steal hearts as the disco dancer named Cadillac. The series were worth $120 million making it a massive hit.

Mateen's stellar performance in the movie, "Aquaman", made him everyone's favorite. Despite playing the villain, people were actually rooting for #TeamBlackManta.
