The Director of the movie, Andy Muschietti, confirmed the appearance of the actor in the film that will release in 2022. The film will also feature Barry Allen, a fast-moving hyper hero, Ezra Miller plays the role. He said that Affleck is the most suitable face for this character. His masculinity, his looks, jawline, and the figure he has is the major requirement of such a hero.
The director stated that “He knows how to deliver from inside out, that vulnerability. He just needs a story to bring that contrast, that balance.” Andy said that though this is Barry's movie but the two characters are intricately connected because of their mothers similar fate to murder.
That's where the emotional connection forms, and the Batman kicks in. Their relationship will add an emotional aspect that we might have never seen before. Authorities of the film added that Ben has worked before and behind the camera, so he understands both the aspects. The 48 years old producer previously disregarded himself from the character since he thought the role is not exciting him anymore. Instead, he wanted to give a chance to someone who feels eager to play the role.
