The biggest awards of  American television are here! We had to wait, and we didn't even know if they were going to be held due to the pandemic. But finally the date of the Emmy Awards is confirmed for September 20th. And the nominees are...  

  • This year is the 72nd edition of one of the four most important American entertainment awards.
  • First edition was on January 25th of 1949 from Los Angeles.
  • Emmy Awards honor excellence in national TV. It has many ceremonies throughout the year but the most covered by the media are Prime-time Emmy Awards and Daytime Emmy Awards.
     

There was a lot of excitement for the Emmy Awards this year.

The COVID-19 pandemic deprived us of many of the entertainment industry's big events.

Fortunately they are almost here, and we'll be able to enjoy this great ceremony. The nominees were already revealed through a virtual live event.

A curious fact is that Netflix broke a record with 160 nominations.

Never before has a single television network or streaming platform obtained so many.

Another great nominee for the night of September 20 is Watchmen with 60 nominations.
