1. Singer Beyoncé lost a lot of weight in 2006 for her role in the film Dreamgirls with a liquid diet known as the Master Cleanse or the Beyoncé Diet after the star tried it out. It consists of drinking a special lemonade made with maple syrup and cayenne pepper. You have to drink at least six to 18 glasses throughout the day whenever you're hungry.

RECIPE: Squeeze fresh lemons you'll need 2 tablespoons, then add 2 Tablespoons of maple syrup, and  1/16 of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper into 8 oz to 10oz of water.

According to Kirsch it's designed to clean your kidneys and detoxify your liver. The NYC trainer designed various drinks for different goals.
