Aimée always knew she didn't want to be a part of her family's reality show. While "The Osbournes" made her siblings famous, Aimée doesn't regret a thing. The show premiered on MTV in March 2002 and was on the air until 2005. Its first season was the most-viewed series ever on MTV.

The singer was promoting her new single "Shared Something With the Night" on Q104.3 New York radio station and for the first time talked about her decision not to appear on her family's show. "I had grown up around having a pretty well-known dad anyway" said the eldest Osbourne.
In 2018, her mother Sharon mentioned Aimée's decision to leave home. "Aimée, left home at 16, and she couldn't live in our house because we were filming and it drove her insane." The singer said during her radio interview that she always valued her privacy added: "as far as morally and also just to give myself a chance to actually develop into a human being as opposed to just being remembered for being a teenager, it didn't really line up with what I saw my future as."
