  • The series focuses on one real estate agency called Oppenheimer Group, directed by twin brothers Jason and Brett Oppenheim.
  • Their employees are all millionaire women that have appeared on magazine covers, TV shows and dated movie stars.
  • Incredible scenery, gorgeous and glamorous people and a lot of drama are the key elements for their success.

The producers of the show Adam DiVello (known for Laguna Beach and The Hills) and Kimberly Goodman thought it was a great idea to show the world behind luxury real estate in the United States, and Netflix bought the idea. The formula was a success, and they just broke viewers records regarding season 1 and 2.

Why is everyone so obsessed with Selling Sunset? First, the houses are a dream everyone would wish to have. Secondly, the office dynamic between two bosses that are single and the daily “struggles” of their employees. The women are almost in their forties and love talking behind each other backs.

At the same time, they date Hollywood celebrities and close multimillion high-end real estate deals. Finally: the cast. Every one of them has a backstory that is either fascinating, or really public.

There is a breach between the 7 employees (Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Maya Vander, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Young, Romain Bonnet, Davina Potratz and Amanza Smith). They fight divided in 2 groups and it brings an explosive mix.
