The British virtual band Gorillaz pays tribute to Pac-Man

The band's latest addition to their "Song Machine" music series, is a tribute to the classic arcade game Pac-Man. The song which premiered on July 20th features rapper ScHoolboy Q. Check it out below.

Gorillaz was created in 1998 by Damon Albarn, Blur musician, and English comic creator and illustrator Jamie Hewlett.  The band is formed by four animated members: Stuart "2-D" Pot, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs. 

Pac-Man is the series 5th song/episode. Previous episodes featured British rapper Tyron Kaymone Frampton known as slowthai, American post-hardcore California band Slaves; Malian Grammy Award nominee Fatoumata Diawara; English singer and composer Peter Hook and French-British rapper Octavian.

Gorillaz Song Machine project is described as a collection of singles and videos

Season One of Song Machine concludes in October 2020 and will have a total of 10 episodes that will later be sold as a compilation titled Almanac. The project includes various genres such as Punk Rock, Bossa Nova, Synth-Pop and Electronic.
