Singer Alanis Morissette and daughter Onyx melt your heart

On July 30th the alternative rock Canadian-American singer had some help performing her latest song 'Ablaze' on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Check it out.

Alanis performed virtually on Jimmy Fallon's show on Thursday, July 30th the day prior to the release of her new album Such Pretty Forks in the Road. The Singer and her band played separately from their homes and Morissette shared her session with her daughter Onyx. The song 'Ablaze' is a vow to her three children, as she sings, “My mission is to keep the light in your eyes ablaze.”

During the song Ablaze you can see little Onyx commenting and asking questions as her mom sings. The performance was definitely special! This album is her first in eight years. The last album was released in 2012 and it was titled Havoc and Bright Lights.

Morissette and American hip hop artist and rapper Mario Treadway known artistically as Souleye, married in 2010, this year they celebrated their 10-year anniversary. The rapper lovingly posted about his wife's new album on Instagram. He wrote: "Congratulations my love so happy for you this new album is a masterpiece".
