We're talking about the famous sculpture in Headington Oxford, England. This fiberglass shark is almost 26 feet long and weighs around 440 pounds. The owner of the house, Bill Heine, thought of it as an anti-war statement. The shark became very popular and gained worldwide recognition.
Headington became a tourist destination for many. People all over would visit the house and take photos. The sculpture has been up for more than 30 years.
After Heine died in 2019 the shark remained intact. Hopefully we'll be able to enjoy it for many more years.
