  • Markle never felt welcomed into the royal family, however at the beginning of her relationship with Prince Harry she had very good press.
  • When did things start to get ugly? Right about the time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to move out of Kensington Palace.

How did Meghan become the villain? It all started when the royal couple decide to move to Windsor, where they got married and away from Prince William and his wife. Sources say there was tension between the brothers.

It's been said that Meghan made Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge cry after a bridesmaid dress fitting of Kate's daughter Charlotte for Meghan's wedding. While it's unclear what caused the Duchess to burst into tears it's a fact that she was emotional because she had recently given birth to Prince Louis.

There is also the royal tiara incident where Meghan apparently made a scene because she couldn't use the tiara she wanted for her wedding day. An inside source said the Queen told Harry 'Meghan cannot have whatever she wants. She gets what tiara she's given by me."

After Meghan and Harry got married three staff members resigned.  One source said "Meghan put a lot of demands" on one of the staff members who resigned "and it ended up with her in tears".

Meghan who has always been used to speaking her mind was frustrated for not being able to do so. In a documentary from British television network ITV Meghan revealed that her British friends had warned her the UK tabloids would "destroy her life". Check out the clip below.

And finally in January 2020 the couple announces they are becoming financially independent and moving to Los Angeles. "We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex move to Los Angeles away from Royalty.
