  • He was nominated as a lead actor for the 7th time in his life.
  • In 2019 he won Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series
Jason Bateman has mistakely chosen a winner.

At Saturday's event there was a funny moment during the award of Guest Actor in the Drama Series. Both Bobby Cannavale and Rose Byrne were about to say the name of the winner between Bateman, Ron Cephas Jones(This is Us), Andrew Scott (Black Mirror) and Martin Short (Morning Show).

Bateman was declared the winner for his role in "The Outsider", but in the screen behind appeared another name: Ron Cephas Jones for "This is Us". After this "failure" Bateman could be considered one of the biggest loosers of all times.

Fans were left in confusion and laughing. At the end, the wrong winner was announced. The series "This is Us" was the winner this time.

Thanks to technology, the ceremony kept going and everything was fixed, but it left us with one of the most memorable moments of this week. Lets see what this night leaves us!

We all remember his acceptance speech from last year:
