Eminem raps about COVID-19 and police brutality

The American rapper and record producer teamed up with rapper and songwriter Kid Cudi. They released their first collaboration, "The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady" last week. Check it out below.

  • The video was released on Friday, July 10th and already has over 6,5 million views.
  • In the animated video Eminem and Cudi appear as superheroes.
  • The rapper also known as Slim Shady takes it on those who refuse to wear face masks.

First collaboration between rappers Eminem and Kid Cudi

The rapper's real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers, He is credited for breaking the racial barrier of white rappers in popular music. In 2002, he played a role in the musical drama film, 8 Mile, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Lose Yourself". 

Eminem speaks out about recent issues in his song

Kid Cudi's real name is Scott Ramon Seguro. Cudi caught the attention of rapper and record producer Kanye West who signed the artist in 2008. His studio album Man on the Moon: The End of Day (2009) was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Kid Cudi first collaboration with Eminem is called "The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady."

Two more collaborations might be on their way since Eminem says the "trilogy continues".
