Emilia Clarke's latest movie finally released

The English actress' latest movie, Above Suspicion, has been ready to show since 2019, however it was just recently released in the US. In the movie Clarke plays a Southern woman who has an affair with an undercover FBI agent.

  • The movie is based on real events. The Kentucky scandal led to the first-ever conviction of an FBI agent for murder.
  • Australian filmmaker Phillip Noyce, known for many award-winning movies such as The Bone Collector and Clear and Present Danger to name a few, directs the thriller.

Above Suspicion is based on the book of the same name written by Joe Sharkey. The movie, which was ready to show last year, has been released in some countries like Japan and Greece, but for some reason it's held off its US premiere. Some steamy scenes can be seen in the trailer of former Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, who has been showing great versatility in her last roles. From Game of Thrones to 2019s Last Christmas and now portraying a Southern woman.
