Many people have fallen into depression during lockdown and actors aren't the exception. The English Hollywood actress and author said TikTok saved her life during quarantine.
The actress worked for the National Theatre Company and the Royal Shakespeare Company and established herself as one of the most significant British theatre performers of the 70s and 80s. During lockdown Dench said she wanted to read Shakespeare’s sonnets, but she only made it through 9 of the 154. Guess she had fun making videos with her grandson.
Some TikTok videos are don with Dench virtually. She says her grandson Sam is the "mastermind" behind all of them and that most moves didn't come naturally for her. However, as any great devoted actor, Dench practiced until she got it perfect! Her grandson also made a video where he's telling his grandmother jokes, but the actress spoils every punchline! Take a look at the hilarious video below!
"I know nothing about TikTok. Sam is the person who is technically minded and who has all the ideas, so he got very strict. He made me do it. I had to rehearse, I had to rehearse all those moves. Don't just think that comes naturally," said Judi Dench to Channel 4 News.
