 1) During the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean, he wanted that his character, Jack Sparrow, to have a golden tooth. So that the producers couldn´t reject his idea, he went to his private dentist and had one made. At the end, his idea prevailed and Jack Sparrow had a golden tooth during all of his films.

2) Thank you, Nicholas Cage. Johnny wanted actually to be a rock musician (he even drop out of school to pursue his dream). He met Cage in Los Angeles, and he convinced Johnny to pursue a career in acting and not in music.

3) Johnny Depp loves marriages. After he divorced Amber Heard, he proposed to each following girlfriend he had: Sherilyn Fenn, Jennifer Grey and Winona Ryder. It looks as if he also likes divorces, apparently.

4) Wine, wine, wine. Johnny loves to party. It is said he spent $24.000 monthly on wine. When asked about that topic he responded “It is way more than that. He also had several scandals being drunk, and Amber Heard exposed him with pictures of him drunk on a plane or showing lines of cocaine. His other ex, Kate Moss, accused him of destroying their hotel room (that costed 1200 dollars per night).


5)The ultimate prize: despite being one of the highest actors in the world, he never won an Oscar award. He has been nominated three times, for the films Pirates of the Caribbean (2003), Finding Neverland (2004), and Sweeney Todd (2007) .
