The “Gladiator” star helped a young boy to fulfil his dream of being an actor and his kind gesture went viral. It all started when a drama student called Harry Pritchard created a web page on GoFundMe in where he revealed that after years of incredibly tough auditions, he had been finally accepted to the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. However, he couldn’t afford to pay the fee for his studies because he came from a working class family.

Harry tried to get a student loan but there were not any opportunities. The boy posted on Twitter, hoping somebody would see it and retweet it. At first he was thankful from donations from his family and friends. Then all of a sudden he was amazed to see a tweet tagging Russell Crowe. He couldn’t believe it!

Crowe donated $4,000 to pay for Harry’s fees and he also tagged businessman and friend Terry George, who then made another generous donation to the fund. From there it started snowballing and more than $15,000 has since been raised. We are so proud of Russell’s generous and kind support!
