On Friday, Bobby Brown was at the night's episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. During the talk, she confessed she almost gave up on acting before she was chosen for the 'Stranger Things' cast.
The Enola Holmes actress felt really dispirit about the acting industry. She said that by the time she was rejected, she was auditioning for anything you can imagine. "I feel like you do get a lot of noes before you get a yes," she said about the casting process.
The 'no' that almost cost her career was when she auditioned for Game of Thrones. "I got a no for that and then that’s when I was like, 'Oh, this is really difficult,'" she explained.
She was about losing all the hope of becoming an actress when Netflix proposal 'Mountak', which will later become 'Stranger Things,' saved her.
"I auditioned and two months later they got back to us and said, ‘Hey we’d love to Skype with you,’ and I Skyped with them, and the rest is history," explained cheerful the young actress.
"Montauk was definitely the one that kind of gave me that hope of doing it all again," said Millie to Fallon. We will always be grateful to Mountak because it allowed us to enjoy such a talented artist in characters like Eleven, and now Enola Holmes. Cheers queen!
