How Joe Exotic made a fortune despite being in jail

The 57-year-old former zoo operator was sentenced 22 years of prison in the beginning of 2019. It was a result of his murder-for-hire attempt on his rival and animal rights activist Carole Baskin who runs a non-profit organization called Big Cat Rescue. Exotic has been trending in the news again since his successful collaboration with Odaingerous, a Los Angeles based brand founded by Ordain Watson. The famous Tiger King star announced his 6 months-long collaboration with Odaingerous while he was in prison. The first collection named revenge launched in May 2020 included sweatshirts, facemasks, t-shirts, and much more.

It instantly went out of stock right after the launch. The second collection of Revenge launched on 7th September 2020. It was again a record-breaking sale that brought in a whopping 50,000 dollars in just one day.

The Joe Exotic line once again made a clean sweep in a few hours. The bestseller was the limited edition Casket Baskin boxer brief.

Joe Exotic collaboration with Odaingerous

Odaingerous is updating its e-store from time to time to make sure the availability of all the products since they are highly in demand. Though Joe Exotic is still behind the bars, he’s eagerly trying to get out of the jail. He recently sent an appeal letter to President Trump pleading him to accept his apology and pardon him for his crimes.

He even has supporters that travelled to Washington to ask for his release. Definitely, Joe is trying to use is fame into his benefit. Economically, it has proven him right.

Now, it's the time to see whether United States Justice system is above fame and celebrities. The latest high Hollywood arrests prove it so. But this is just happening as we speak. A couple of years ago, this story would have been different. Luckily, times are changing for good!
