We know that thousands of people went to YouTube to re-live the 2020 Super Bowl performance starring two Latina queens, Shakira and J Lo. We know it because we went to see it too LOL. Keep reading to know more.
However, nothing can be compared to the great Latin display that gave the Super Bowl halftime show in 2020 in Miami.
Both Shakira and Jennifer Lopez were magnificent, I mean there are no words to describe the energy they transmitted in each of the many songs from their repertoire that they performed.
In fact, this was one of the longest performances of the NFL finale, lasting 14 and a half minutes.
The Latin divas were joined by J Balvin and Bad Bunny in a show of colors and unmatched talent.
What caused thousands of people to run to YouTube to relive this moment?
Is it that the fans wanted to check that The Weeknd's show was actually not that good?
Although many applaud the performance of the 30-year-old Canadian, which took place in the middle of a pandemic and with many security protocols,
others believe that the presentation wasn't worth the $7 million budget announced by the artist for the Super
Bowl ceremony which is the most-watched sporting event in the world.
And of course, after comparing the presentation of Shakira and J Lo, the level of this year's performance drops even more.
Anyway, it is understandable that the type of concert was different due to the current situation, but perhaps Abel could have been more generous and surrounded himself with an international star to help him in the task.
What do you think? Were you one of those who ran to YouTube to remember Shakira's hips and J Lo riding on a pole?
