This NYC heartwarming video looks taken from a movie script

The following video will melt your heart. A kind, loving, interaction between a white man and a black child in the New York subway made us forget our problems and just admire pure love and kindness. The YouTube video got over 14 million views in 24 hours.  Watch the video below.

  • The footage was published on YouTube in 2018 by the Free Hugs Project and started trending again in 2020.
  • It is an initiative promoting peace and social problems' awareness. 
  • Founded by filmmaker Kenneth Nwadike Jr, his idea was to promote love via trending videos. 
  • He was inspired by the catastrophe of Boston Marathon, where a terrorist attack killed 3 people and injured 265.


The video reflects the kindness of a man towards a child, who seems to be looking how he plays with a mobile app on his cellphone. After he realizes that the kid is watching, he immediately hands him the gadget and tells him to play with it.
