Who would dare sue the Queen of Pop for the masterpiece ‘Evermore’? I mean, if you listened to it, you would think twice before doing something like that...but really, who had the audacity to do that? Turns out a Utah based fantasy theme park is after her. The only way to find out more about it is by scrolling down!
Warning: if you’re a die-hard Swiftie like me aka someone who is a huge Taylor Swift fan, this news will make you angry.
Why is Taylor being sued and by whom? It turns out a Utah based fantasy theme park also called ‘Evermore’ thinks that Taylor stole the name for her album. I mean, who do they think they are accusing THE Taylor Swift of that?
They are calling it trademark infringement of their so-called invented word ‘evermore’. Are they for real? Why don’t they just go and claim every single word in the dictionary because I’m sure they invented all of those words too, right? As a Swiftie, I condemn their unbelievable behavior! According to them, ever since Taylor started selling merchandise to promote her album with the same name as their brand, she has weakened it. No offense to them, but I did not even know who they were till I heard this news.
However, the good news is that Taylor’s representatives have called the claims of the park ‘baseless’ and ‘frivolous’, as they should. We’re sure the theme park doesn’t stand a chance against Taylor and will quiet down after its attention-seeking tactics don’t work. Till then, we will keep streaming ‘Evermore’. If you haven’t listened to it yet, then what are you waiting for? Click on the video below and thank us later for blessing your ears!
