Although we have not yet seen the avatars in action, the human members of the group aespa have been more than enough to make them the fastest newcomer group to reach 100 million views on YouTube.
The MY's have worked hard to reach this milestone on social media by calling on all fans of the group to put "Black Mamba" to play.
Karina, Ning Ning, Giselle, and Winter have needed only 1 month, 21 days, and 11 hours to break this record in the K-pop music genre.
The former champions in this category were JYP's ITZY with 1 month and 28 days.
Since the debut of aespa, on November 17th, we realized that the girls were going to be a success.
Their dance-inspired sound and enchanting singing surprised everyone by reaching more than 21 million views in just 24 hours.
The multiple live performances by Lee Soo Man's company band have only reinforced the theory that aespa is a group full of talent and incredible visuals.
Now it remains to hope that SM will fulfill the promise it made to netizens on January 6th.
Through a post on social media, the entertainment company announced that once aespa had reached 100 million views,
they would release a special choreographic video of "Black Mamba" and even made an online poll so that the MYs could choose the outfit of the idols.
Techwear won over suit wear, by the way.
While we wait for the premiere of the new video let's remember the debut of the girls with "Black Mamba".
