Carlos Vives and Ricky Martin cover for their next new song 'Canción Bonita'

Is Ricky Martin and Carlos Vives' new song 'Canción Bonita' the next 'Despacito'?

The Latin singers just released their new song inspired by the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Martin was born. The collaboration might become the new global hit and we think it could surpass 'Despacito' as one of the most viewed music videos on YouTube. Listen to the incredible song below!

  • The two singers met in the country's capital in 1987.
  • They've been friends since then, and decided to collaborate in the new happy and danceable music video.
  • Puerto Rico is the home of artists like Bad Bunny, Nicky Jam, Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi, the creators of 'Despacito'.
  • The YouTube video got 15,000 views in the first 10 minutes!

The music video is aa tribute to the city that saw the birth of so many artists who later settled in the United States. The video shows its streets, its people, its magnificent beaches with a rhythm that makes anyone smile. Ricky Martin is 49 years old and Carlos Vives 59.

Both are very active in their careers and are dedicated to doing projects that interest them and that they think they can contribute something more.

"You always talk about Miami or Los Angeles, but never about San Juan."

Let's remember that Ricky was trained in the Caribbean city and began as a television actor, but after taking singing classes and participating in different choirs, he achieved fame as a singer.

What do you think about these amazing song? Will it reach the levels of 'Despacito' and break 7 billion views? We think so! Leave your comments below!
