Broadway actor Nick Cordero died after battling with COVID-19

He was in Cedars-Sinai Center Hospital in Los Angeles, California since March 31st and entered the medical center for a pneumonia, but it was later confirmed that he had actually coronavirus. He fought against the disease and even had a leg amputated. Cordero is survived by his actress wife Amanda Kloots and their 1-year-old son Elvis. Read below to find what happened. 

  • Cordero was known the Tony Award nomination for the musical "Bullets Over Broadway", Woody Allen’s  adaptation play.
  • He appeared also in the TV show Law & Order  and in the movie Going in Style with Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin.

His widow posted an emotional picture on Instagram with a heart broken message: "God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth."

She was in a TV interview last week updating on his husband’s health status and stated that they didn't know how he got the virus and that his lungs "looked like he had been a smoker for 50 years"
