Billie Eilish is not feeling safe at her home in L.A. because of a dangerous stalker. The 19-year-old singer has gone to court to file a restraining order against a man who is camping just few yards from her doorstep. Scroll down as the pop star reveals suffering from anxiety and fear from this life-threatening experience!
Billie Eilish believes her life is danger because the obsessive man, according to her claims, has violent and deranged behavior. The “Ocean Eyes” singer is extremely worried about being hurt and that something bad could happen to herself or her family if legal action is not taken.
Eilish explained that a 23-year-old man has been harassing her and disturbing her with creepy gestures and scary messages at home since last August 2020.
"For nearly six months, an individual who has identified himself as John Hearle has harassed and threatened me while he has camped outside a school across the street from my family’s home."
Billie also said that the man has been throwing letters addressed to her into her family’s property. The letters are incredibly disturbing and she felt she urgently needed to resolve the situation with a restraining order.
According to the claims John Hearle is said to have written:
“You can’t get what you want, unless what you want is to die for me. You will know that soon the water will rise, and you might very well die. You will die.”
Eilish is suffering from anxiety because Hearle makes a gesture of throat slitting to her whenever he sees her. He is said to constantly watch Billie while entering and exiting her family home.
She requested that Hearle should stay at least 200 yards away from her and her parents, and the Los Angeles Police Department is going to start an investigation into the matter.
The five-time Grammy Award winner previously obtained a restraining order in May 2020 against a 24-year-old trespasser called Prenell Rosseau who visited her home on seven occasions. Thanks to the order, she managed to have her house blurred from Google Maps.
Meanwhile, the superstar documentary “Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry” will premiere on Apple TV+ on February 26th 2021, as well as being shown in selected US cinemas.
