Billie Eilish is currently finishing her new record with her older brother and creative collaborator Finneas O’Connell. On February 1st Yaay published exclusive news revealing that Eilish’s much-awaited second album is going to contain 16 songs.
The musician posted on Instagram a snap of herself looking up at a screen displaying a piece of music-making software that she was using to mix her new material.
Eilish wrote a caption to the photo saying that her work is “almost done” suggesting that the creation of the new record is getting nearing completion.
The “Therefore I Am” singer recently said that her new music for the highly anticipated follow-up to her debut album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" that she released in 2019, is more than meeting her expectations.
“There isn’t one song, or one part of one song, that I wish was this or that I wish it was that, it feels exactly how I want.”
Billie is also helping her mother Maggie Baird on her Support + Feed initiative. The vegan singer’s family are feeding first responders, seniors centers, and economically vulnerable people during the coronavirus pandemic. The initiative also helps plant-based restaurants stay afloat during the global crisis.
Eilish is being really prolific and working hard in 2021. She also dropped her new single called "Lo Vas A Olvidar," a bilingual collaboration with Latin star Rosalía.
On Wednesday 3rd the iconic artist shared the second trailer of her documentary “The World’s A Little Blurry,” which will be out on February 26th. Fans are speculating that she might launch her new record near the date Apple TV + launch the movie.
