The man behind the world's biggest boy band BTS, Bang Si-Hyuk, has resigned from the position of CEO at HYBE. He has taken this decision to focus on his music as well the chairman position at HYBE. From now on, he will not be the CEO of the company, but will remain the chairman because of his shares in the label. Scroll down to continue reading about it!
From day 1, Bang Si-Hyuk believed in BTS and helped them grow bigger and bigger. With his amazing leadership skills and the band's untiring hard work, BTS is the biggest phenomenon on this planet.
Moreover, numerous other bands have been acquired by the label over the course of last eight years including SEVENTEEN, GFRIEND etc. The bands debuted under the label after BTS are TXT and ENHYPEN who are also accomplishing a lot on global level such as spots on Billboard Hot 100 charts.
Apart from his leadership talent, Bang Si-Hyuk's passion for music and production is also not hidden from anyone. He has won multiple awards for production such as Asia Artist Awards, Golden Disc Awards, Melon Music Awards for best producer and songwriter.
He has stepped down the throne of company's CEO to focus more on his music and production. However, he will remain a part of HYBE family as the chairman of the company.
Leaving the position of CEO must have been a tough decision, however, this shows his interest and dedication towards music and production. Massive respect for Bang Si-Hyuk!
Park Ji Won will now be serving the company as the new CEO. Not only this, some other new hiring have also been done by the company.
HYBE America will now be led by Lenzo Yoon and Scooter Braun as the CEOs.
The Japanese headquarter of the label has also appointed a new CEO, Han Hyun Rok who has previously worked as the CEO of HYBE Solutions Japan.
According to HYBE, these appointments have been done to step ahead as a global corporation. Hoping to see the company getting bigger and better under the new leadership!
