  • This isn’t the first time the award-winning author is accused of anti-trans. In 2018, she liked a tweet that referred to transgender people as “men in dresses”. The screenwriter began receiving threats from trans people on her Twitter account.
  • In the recent letter Rowling explained how she was doing research for a book she's writing and for which she was taking screenshots on gender issues and accidentally 'liked' the tweet.
