Actress and political activist, Alyssa Milano had tested negative several times for coronavirus, yet she experienced all the symptoms. "It felt like I was dying" she said. More on this in the article below.
The television producer believes the testing system for COVID-19 is flawed. After testing negative several times Milano finally tested positive for the virus antibodies.
The actress recently posted on Instagram a photo of herself from April 2nd after being sick for two weeks.
"I had never been this kind of sick. Everything hurt. Loss of smell," "It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't keep food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks." At the end of March Milano had taken two COVID-19 tests and both were negative. She also took the antibody test after she felt a bit better, but it was also negative. Despite the test results the activist spent the last four months with lingering symptoms such as vertigo, heart palpitations, shortness of breath and short-term memory loss.
Finally, Milano decided to go for another test and it came out positive for the virus antibodies which means the actress had contracted COVID-19 but it was not detected in the test. She said she is going to donate her plasma in hopes of helping others. She wishes nobody has to go through what she went through and urges people to wear a mask and wash their hands.
