Dogs can be very expressive. When you get home after work they jump at you with joy, they get exited every time they go for a walk, even when they are sad you can tell because their energy is so low. So it wouldn't be a surprise if they could laugh too right?

Many studies have been made on this subject. Patricia Simonet, an animal behaviorist, studied the panting dogs make when they're playing and described it as the dogs' laugh. When other dogs hear this panting they respond in playful ways.
