How use to be BLACKPINK during their trainee days?

The members of BLACKPINK are superstars nowadays. Are you wondering how their lives were before the debut? Here's all the information.

Since its debut, the girl group under YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK got a lot of attention from the public. The members had a powerful but fresh presence on the stage. In August 2016 they made their debut and released two iconic songs "WHISTLE" and "BOOMBAYAH".

Gradually the group changed to a style characterized for their good taste in fashion and of course more girl crush music. Immediately the talent of the members conquered the crowds from all over the word.

The lifestyle of the girls is well known for being full of luxurious fashion brands and parties with global celebrities. But how BLACKPINK prepared to become one of the most important girl groups of the world?

As you may know the Korean Idols spend too many years as trainees in an entertainment label. They practice singing, dancing, acting, modeling, languages and more.

Let's check how the members BLACKPINK used to be during their trainee days.

1. Jisoo

Jisoo joined YG Entertainment in 2011, she trained 5 years before her debut. However the beautiful Idol got the opportunity working as an actress in 2014 she appeared in the music video of "I'm Different" by Lee Hi and Suhyun from AKMU.

The next year she got a cameo in the K-Drama "The producer" working next to Sandara from 2NE1, Seongyoon from Winner and IU.

2. Jennie

Jennie moved to South Korea to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. In 2010 she was casted and almost immediately the agency saw in her a lot of potential.

In 2012 and 2013 the label revealed her name in some videos to announce the new artists. Before her debut she got the opportunity to work with some artists of YG: G-Dragon, Lee Hi and Seungri.

3. Rose

She was casted during an audition in New Zealand in 2012. A  few months later she moved to Seoul to start her trainee period. 4 years later Rose debuted as a member of BLACKPINK.

She participated in the debut album of G-Dragon "One of a Kind". Her credits in the song "Without You" were revealed at the same time with the girl group debut.

4. Lisa

She was casted in Bangkok in 2010. The next year Lisa became the first foreigner artist of the agency.

She standed out because of her dancing skills. She worked as back dancer for the music video of "Ringa Linga" by Taeyang. On the other hand she was the face of some cosmetic and fashion brands.

There's no doubt that these Idols were born to be super stars.
